At Phoenix Arch targets are set at the beginning of each term with class teams, pupils and their parents or carers. Targets for learning are set against the National Curriculum and these are reviewed on a half termly basis. Behaviour targets are also set and these are tailored to each child and their needs. Specific Speech and Language targets are set with the Speech and Language therapist during Target Setting. Progress towards meeting targets is monitored regularly and recorded on ‘Classroom Monitor’ . Most pupils are aware of their targets and engaged in the process of meeting them.
