Marlborough Project

At Phoenix Arch we believe children’s needs should be viewed in the context of the environments at home and school and not simply in relation to the children themselves. We have recently begun to run the Marlborough Project to promote this ethos.  The project involves multi-family groups and/or individual sessions in school with an Early Intervention Worker and a School based Partner. The children work towards behavioural targets which can be based either in school or at home. The group monitors these targets and encourage the children to work towards success. Parental commitment and involvement is needed to support the children. Therefore pupils attend the group accompanied by a responsible parent or carer.
